Introduction
Collimators
with infinity setting
A collimator is an instrument that projects the image of a reticle to
infinity. Consequently, a bundle of parallel light emerges from the
collimator. The reticle is located in the focal plane of the objective.
No real image of the reticle arises.
The main components of a collimator are:
- tube with objective
- adapter sleeve with reticle
- illumination
Collimators are adjusted at a wavelength of 546 nm. An adjustment at
infinity at other wavelengths can be provided at our works. |
